The revolution began. The universe shifted. The course of history changed. As a group of people, Christ followers, received the Spirit of God.
Acts 2 tells us that when the day of Pentecost came, Christ followers were together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting (Acts 2:1; Acts 2:2). Acts 2:4 says 3,000 were added . . . 3,000! There was no mistake . . . they encountered the Spirit of God . . . an explosion occurred . . . a revolution that changed everything.
The revolution continues. God has asked you and I to step into the revolutionary power through prayer. God has big plans for us in this era. There is nothing little about God. This is big!
How do we make the shift in our life? We need to take a gigantic flying leap of faith like the individuals who trusted Christ as the revolution began.
The thing is . . . when we look back on our life. . . we will see that what really made sense was to live a God-driven and directed life . . . to not hold anything back from God . . . to give it all . . . and to take a flying leap of faith.
